Lenin Statue in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood
I am very excited to announce the opening of my new nutrition practice, Mindful Nutrition! The new office is located in the “Center of the Universe”, also known as the lovely neighborhood of Fremont. If we haven’t met, feel free to schedule your complimentary 15-minute visit today so we can discuss your unique nutritional situation, and see if we’re a fit for what you need. If you want to get started already, it’s simple to book your appointment online. After our visit, you’ll already be in the heart of funky Fremont and may want to stop by some of my favorite retailers within walking distance: Peet’s Coffee & Tea (bring your favorite book and take advantage of their deck on a nice day); Burnt Sugar (shoes); Show Pony (more shoes); Fremont Vintage Mall; Theo’s Chocolates, and of course, PCC. I’m also pleased to mention my constant hankering for spicy Thai food is now easier to satisfy than ever before.
Admittedly, my move is bittersweet, since I already miss being able to work among some amazing people at NutritionWorks and Seattle Performance Medicine. Where do I start with Kathleen Putnam, MS, RD at NutritionWorks? She is one of the most openhearted, compassionate people I know and continues to be a source of support, encouragement, and wisdom for me. You can expect Mindful Nutrition and NutritionWorks to be collaborating together! I’m also grateful for my time working at SPM with Emily Cooper, MD, a one-of-a-kind physician who practices with a clinician’s heart and a researcher’s mind. I’m going to miss discussing with her some of her biggest passions: the latest yummy food finds at Trader Joe’s, new health research and how it applies to patients, and politics.
Now let’s get back to you. What do you need? What would you say is the one biggest nutritional challenge you’re currently facing? Email me or comment below. I’d love to hear from you!
Wow, great new website! Congratulations on this transition, it seems like a wonderful opportunity for you and your clients.
Thanks for your kind words, Ben. :-)
